Be cautious when using Trident Toss up-close as it can be ducked or jumped over. This move is best used at moderate to long range to slow down an advancing opponent. Trident Toss (← → + ▲(triangle) / ← → + Y) Aquaman tosses his trident towards his opponent from a distance. ![]() When you have at least one bar of meter, you can start a damaging juggle by meter burning Trident Scoop and following it up with a ← + X / ← + A wall-bounce. Use Trident Scoop as a combo ender when your back is against the corner as you will switch sides with your opponent. As the first hit needs to be blocked crouching, it can force your opponent to guess between a low or overhead hit after a combo attack. Trident Scoop (↓ ← + ▲ (triangle)/ ↓ ← + Y) Aquaman scoops his trident underneath his opponent’s legs to launch them up into the air. When your opponent’s health bar is low, use Trident Rush to close out rounds as it will deal significant damage on block. The meter burned version of Trident Rush is an effective combo ender as it will leave your opponent standing and allow you to initiate another offense. While it will leave you vulnerable after using it on a blocking opponent, you can back dash during the attack animation to avoid a damaging counter-attack. Trident Rush (↓ → + ◼ (square) / ↓ → + X) Aquaman lunges at his opponent with his trident and pierces them with repeated strikes.
